Estimation Jars

We've started to do an estimation jar once a week as a class. Students are learning to make an appropriate guess and justify their thinking. We've also been learning how to count the objects in different ways (by 1's, 2's, 5's, 10's, using doubles, etc.)

Devine Snack Shack

There will be a sale held on Monday February 29th for kindergarten to grade 3 students. Students who have brought money will be escorted down to the snack shack in front of the Learning Commons to purchase their bag of cookies for $3.

Each bag will contain 1 chocolate chip, 1 shortbread and 1 sugar cookie. Proceeds from the sale will go to Ms. Devine, a teacher with our school who has cancer.

Pizza Inquiry

The students shown an interest in pizza and decided to transform our dramatic play area into a pizza shop.
