Family Literacy Day

Dear parents/ guardians,

Friday January 27^th is Family Literacy Day. Students are invited to wear their pajamas and bring their favourite stuffed animal to school.

In the afternoon, 1:30-2:30 pm, we are celebrating by inviting parents to bring one of their favourite children’s stories to school. Parents will read their chosen story to a few students at a time. Please note stories should be around 10 minutes long.

If you are interested in volunteering, please let the classroom teacher know by Monday January 23^rd.

Reading with Raz-Kids

This year students have access to digital resources online through Raz-Kids. There are many eBooks at just-right reading levels.

To access this amazing resource simply visit www.kidsa-z.com and enter the teacher name emacrae. Each child has an individual password that was sent home last week. If you need another password, please let us know.
