Space Inquiry




In space we see...

We have been very interested in learning about astronauts and their experiences in space. We've been exploring the Canadian Space Agency website. We watched a few clips on what life is like in space: how do astronauts eat, drink, shower, exercise, sleep, brush their teeth, go to the bathroom, etc. 

We've also been talking about the phases of the moon. We learned that the surface of the moon is very dry and dusty. There is no wind or water on the moon. We were fascinated to learn that the footsteps of the astronauts who first walked on the moon are still there because there is no wind or water to disturb the tracks.
