We have been talking and learning about pumpkins.
First we worked together to describe our pumpkin.
Next we began to wonder, how can we measure our pumpkin? We brainstormed a list of different ways and materials we could use to measure our pumpkin. First, we thought we could measure the height of the pumpkin using cubes.
Next, we measured around the pumpkin using yarn.
We recorded our findings.
We also measured the height of the pumpkin using rulers and markers.
